Situated by Stourport Bridge, next to the River Severn, the Old Crown Inn (Originally Ye Olde Crown Inn) is a 19th-century pub, rebuilt in the 1930s.
The Old Crown was popular with holiday-makers. It catered for those arriving by river and revived the spirits of those setting out from its forecourt, on day trips, in char-a-bancs running on solid tyres.
