This Wetherspoon pub takes its name from its former use as the Union Bank of Scotland.
The premises, at 62-66 George Street, which have always been used as a bank, are listed Grade A. The building was designed between 1874-1878, in a neo-classical style, by David Bryce, and completed by his nephew John.
