The Sandpiper

This pub takes its name from the common snipe and Jack snipe, both members of the sandpiper family which visits nearby Paisley Moss Local Nature Reserve.

Just a ten-minute walk from the terminal building, Paisley Moss Local Nature Reserve lies within the boundaries of Glasgow Airport. The reserve is a hidden oasis for wildlife, its ponds, marshes and reed beds supporting hundreds of different plants, animals and birds. Sedge warblers, damselflies and marsh orchids can all be seen at the nature reserve.
