This Wetherspoon pub bears the name of Caradoc ap Iestyn, first of the Lords of Afan, who built a wooden stronghold here in the mid 12th century.
Before the Second World War, the site of Lord Caradoc was occupied by a gentlemen's outfitters. After the war, it expanded to include a ladies' wear section. The business closed down in the 1980s.
We show live subtitled news (on silent) throughout the day.
