These premises were built almost eighty years ago as Market Drayton's first purpose-built cinema. The Hippodrome opened its doors to the cinema-going public in 1927 and screened its last film almost forty years later. After spending several years as a bingo hall, it became a supermarket. We show live subtitled news (on silent) throughout the day.
