The Gatehouse

The former Stockbridge Road campus of Chichester High School for Girls was developed as the Chichester Gate Leisure Park. The park is close to where Stockbridge Road joins Southgate, named after the long demolished gateway into the medieval, walled city.

The leisure park is situated south of the city centre on Stockbridge Road. Just north of the development Stockbridge Road is crossed by a railway line, beyond which it becomes Southgate, named after the long demolished gateway into the medieval walled city.
