This Wetherspoon pub takes its name from the architect Cuthbert Brodrick. He designed the Oriental or Central Baths, built in 1897, which occupied part of the site where the pub now stands. Brodrick also designed two nearby buildings: the town hall and the Leeds Institute.
Millennium Square was Leeds' flagship project to mark 2000. Dominated by the Civic Hall, it is the city's first public square for over sixty years. Other buildings of interest in the square include Leeds General Infirmary, the Leeds College of Art & Design and The Carriageworks - the city's newest theatre.
We show live subtitled news (on silent) throughout the day.
