This Wetherspoon pub takes its name from the inventor of the famous crucible steel-making process, which made Sheffield famous.
The pub now faces Cambridge Street, originally called Coalpit Lane, which was renamed when the duke of Cambridge laid the foundation stone of the nearby Crimean War monument, in 1857.
