About these files

Select one of the popular satellite navigation devices to the right to download the relevant Point Of Interest (POI) file.

Please note that a compatible satellite navigation device/platform is required. We are unable to provide support for installing any of the POI files, which you do at your own risk. Always consult your device documentation for additional installation instructions and help.

How to install for tomtom satellite Navigation devices connected to Windows XP/Vista/7 PC systems

Click the 'download POI' button to the left of these instructions to download the POI file to a location on your computer. This download will contain 2 files: 'J_D_Wetherspoon.ov2' and 'J_D_Wetherspoon.bmp'.
Ensure your device is switched off and connect your tomtom unit to your PC (consult your tomtom documentation for instructions on how to do this). Switch your tomtom device on. Your computer will automatically detect your tomtom device as a 'Removable Disk', which typically will have a tomtom related name e.g. 'tomtom Go'.
Copy the files that you downloaded to your PC during step 1, to the Great Britain Map directory of the 'tomtom..' removable disk. The POI files will now be loaded onto your tomtom device.
To enable the Wetherspoon POIs within your tomtom 'Change preferences' section select 'enable/disable POIs' and tick the 'J D Wetherspoon' POI category. Find your nearest Wetherspoon pub at any time by simply selecting the 'Point of Interest' option of the 'Navigate to' screen.
