The Court of Requests became a significant milestone for one group of beer enthusiasts on a charity pub crawl.
Pub duty manager Michelle Cromwell (left) and manager Simon Taylor (far right) welcomed (left to right) Gary Mountain, Peter Hill and Kelvin Price to their pub in Oldbury.
The Black Country Ale Tasters were clocking up their 16,000th pub on their great British pub crawl which was launched in 1984.
The group, which has earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records, made The Court of Requests its milestone pub.
Peter Hill from Greets Green, West Bromwich, said: “To reach this stage is absolutely brilliant. I don’t think you can beat my hobby, if you like beer, travelling, history and adventure.
“Wetherspoon has done a really nice job with The Court of Requests, which had eight ales on, all of which were superb.”
