Wetherspoon is the highest-ranked pub operator in Britain’s Top Employers 2013.
It was placed fourth in the overall rank of large organisations.
The annual report, undertaken by the CRF Institute, highlights the best employers across a wide range of industries.
It is the 10th year in succession that the company has been named as a top employer.
The certification is awarded to organisations which meet the highest standards in human resources.
The research assesses all critical areas of human resources management at the respective companies.
Wetherspoon’s personnel and legal director, Su Cacioppo, said: “We are delighted with the accolade of being named as the top employer in the pub industry.
“Our staff are vital to the overall success of the company and its pubs, and we work hard to ensure that they have excellent pay, training and a host of other benefits.
“We invest in talent of all ages and offer our employees the opportunity to ‘learn and earn’ – gaining recognised qualifications alongside paid work experience.
“There are also outstanding opportunities for staff members to progress within Wetherspoon, either in the pubs or in a head-office role.”
