Newlyweds Steve and Liz Goddard generously donated their wedding gifts to charity, to the tune of £1,400.
Steve and Liz, from Newquay, were married in a ceremony at The Knights Templar, in Chancery Lane, central London.
The pair asked guests to donate money, instead of presents, with the proceeds split equally between CLIC Sargent and the Merlin Project, in Cornwall – a respite centre for MS sufferers.
Jan Swords, pub manager at The Knights Templar, said: “Steve and Liz are a wonderful couple and we thank them so much for their generous gift. The day was beautiful, so romantic, with bell-ringers performing at the pub.”
