Fund-raisers from The Robert Peel and The Art Picture House (in Bury), The Regal Moon (in Rochdale) and The Society Rooms (in Stalybridge) walked a total of 19 miles, collectively raising £850 for CLIC Sargent.
The route took them from Rochdale through Heywood, onto Bury and then to Manchester as they called in at all of the Wetherspoon pubs en route, with collecting buckets and tins.
