Two members of staff from The Robert Shaw set out to see whether blonds really do have more fun, in a charity hair-dying fundraiser.

Shift leader and event organiser Kate Pepper and shift manager John Rogers went from black to blond, thanks to local hairdressers The Salon, in Westhoughton.

Customers and staff pledged sponsorship money and generously donated cash on the night, totalling £810 for CLIC Sargent.
