A Brixham pub raised £605 for a children’s cancer charity, at their family fun day on Sunday September 4.

Staff at The Vigilance, in Bolton Street, dressed in school uniforms for the ‘Back to School’ themed event.

Youngsters (pictured, front) enjoyed face-painting, a clown, balloon modelling and a magic show.  There was also a charity raffle, with proceeds donated to CLIC Sargent.

Pub manager Billy Nicol (far right, on bike) was among the team who took part in an exercise bike cycle challenge, from 8am until midnight on the day, pedalling a collective 398 miles for the charity.
