A fundraising pirate-themed fun-day at The Full House, in Hemel Hempstead, raised £526 for CLIC Sargent.
Staff dressed as pirates and organised games, including a scavenger hunt quiz, guess the number of caps in a bottle and a skittle-eating contest. There was also a cup cake sale.
Pub manager Anna Ward, who runs The Full House with husband Paul, got more than she bargained for in the stocks. Customers were donating cash to throw wet sponges at her, before the local fire brigade arrived and hosed her down!
