Phil Owen, shift leader at The Liquorice Gardens, in Worksop, is pictured with three-year-old Jack Hughes and Ellie Butterfield (aged 7) at the pub’s charity fundraising day.
Phil, together with kitchen manager Lisa Lines and team leader Laura Jepson, organised numerous activities raising £500 for CLIC Sargent.
Laura held a sponsored silence on her cake stall, bar associate Martin Herring rowed the equivalent width of the English Channel (21 miles) on a rowing machine, bar associate Emma Atherton sat in a bath of beans, while Lisa and her kitchen colleagues were busy on the barbeque.
