Staff at four pubs in Nottinghamshire joined forces to raise a massive £3,601 for CLIC Sargent.
The Court House, The Widow Frost and The Stag & Pheasant, all in Mansfield, together with The Picture House, in Sutton in Ashfield, staged a week of sports and fundraising events.
As well as a raffle, there was hula-hooping, face-painting and a cake sale at The Picture House, a boat race, crazy golf and a water balloon challenge at The Court House, a kids’ party and sponsored bike ride from The Widow Frost to Skegness, with bar associates Simon Russell, Michael Potter and James Smithson completing in 7.5 hours to raise £1,000.
A band night, table games and a skipping challenge were enjoyed at The Stag & Pheasant.
All of the pub managers, as well as area manager Emma Parkinson, also donned fancy dress and walked from Sutton in Ashfield to Mansfield as part of the fundraising.
