Customers at 11 pubs across north London, including The Gatehouse, in Highgate, raised a collective £3,100 for CLIC Sargent in a charity raffle.
The winners from each pub attended the opening night of ‘Play it Again Sam’, by Woody Allen, being staged at Upstairs at The Gatehouse Theatre. The prize included a champagne back-stage reception with the cast.
The theatre, located above The Gatehouse, in Highgate Village, is described by Time Out magazine as ‘one of London’s most reliable fringe musical theatre venues.'
