Five members of staff from The Water House, in Durham, have collectively raised £2,000 for CLIC Sargent in a charity skydive.

Customers pledged the cash for the quintet to take part in the 10,000-feet jump, from the Skydive Academy, Peterlee Parachute Centre at nearby Shotton Airfield.

Pictured before the jump are (back, l to r) bar associates Sarah Jackson and Jess Callaghan, with kitchen associate Paul Davison, (front, l to r) shift managers Dan Seed (now at The Lambton Worm, Sunderland) and Gareth Pratt.
