We raised £200

A dozen golfers, from four pubs across the northeast, raised £200 for CLIC Sargent in a charity golf day.
Staff and one customer from The Red Lion, at Bedlington, The Union Rooms, in Newcastle upon Tyne, The Bishops’ Mill, in Durham, and The Three Tuns, at Thirsk, took part in the event, at the Bedlington Golf Course.
Matthew Creighton, pub manager at The Three Tuns, finished in first place, with Chris Ford, deputy manager at The Union Rooms, second and Mark Streener (pictured sixth from right), event organiser and The Red Lion’s manager, in third place.
