A sportsman’s dinner, at The William Rufus, in Carlisle, raised £150 for CLIC Sargent.
The ticket-only event, attended by 120 people, included an after-dinner speech by former footballer Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock, a comedian and a sports memorabilia auction.
The evening was also an end-of-season celebration for Lloyds FC, the Sunday league team sponsored by the pub for the past three years.
