A team of JDW managers from The King’s Head, in Monmouth, held a charity cricket match against Monmouth CC Chairman’s XI.
The pub team notched up an impressive 156 for 4, off 20 overs, but was narrowly beaten as the ‘pros’ scored 157 after 16 overs. That said, the real winner of the day was CLIC Sargent, with £1,102 raised.
