The Sir Nigel Gresley, in Swadlincote, joined forces with beauty salon The Beauty Rooms to organise a family fun-day – raising more than £1,000 for CLIC Sargent.
Event co-ordinator Sam Noon (The Beauty Rooms) and event co-organiser, pub shift manager Stacey Whetton, are pictured with Gresley Football Club’s mascot Elvis Gresley.
Customers took part in a sponsored waxing at the pub and local radio station Touch FM provided the entertainment, with local businesses donating prizes for a tombola.
