The first-ever customers at The Greyfriar, in Preston, Jack Aspden and Arthur Atherton (left to right), cut a ribbon to mark the pub’s 15th birthday.
The pub celebrated the birthday by staging a family fun-day which included a magic show, clown, acrobatic dancing, face-painting and a visit from Preston North End’s mascot – Deepdale Duck.
The pub’s manager, Bradley Hollingsworth, said: “It was a fantastic day and a fun way to celebrate our birthday. We also raised £1,300 for CLIC Sargent, thanks to the generosity of our customers.”
