Pub manager Duncan McSporran and his team at the Camperdown Place marked the pub’s first birthday with a pirate party weekend.
The pub, in Glasgow, takes its name from the great naval victory of 1797 when Scots-born Admiral Duncan defeated the Dutch fleet in the Battle of Camperdown.
The naval theme was evident, with fancy-dress costumes and competitions for the birthday celebrations.
Duncan said: “Thanks to everyone for their efforts, especially shift leader Gill MacFarlane who organised the whole event. We had a tremendous weekend and raised £500 for CLIC Sargent.”
