Bromley’s Best Bar None scheme has recognised three Wetherspoon pubs in the borough at the 2011 awards.
The Greyhound, in Bromley North, The Richmal Crompton, in Bromley South, and The Sovereign of the Seas, in Petts Wood, have all been accredited.
The Sovereign of the Seas was also named as runner-up in the ‘large premises’ category.
Each pub was presented with an accreditation certificate by the Mayor of Bromley, Cllr David McBride, at the awards ceremony at the Civic Centre.
He said: “Being accredited under the Best Bar None scheme is something of which you should be rightly proud. It’s a great opportunity for you to be recognised for your high standards of management and the positive contribution which you make to Bromley’s night-time economy.”
