Tournament success

Phil, who runs The Fire Station in the town, sponsored the 2012 Rockcliff Super 10s – an annual rugby tournament organised by local side Rockcliff RFC.
The 10-a-side rugby event is geared to touring sides, as well as local teams, who want to let their hair down at the end of the season with some rugby, as well as Whitley Bay’s South Parade social scene.
This year’s tournament featured 19 teams, from across England and Scotland, each playing at least two matches, in the knock-out contest.
