Thomas is a summer sensation

The Thomas Burke, in Leigh, has been voted as ‘summer pub of the season’ by South East Lancs CAMRA members.
The pub serves a range of ten real ales and four real ciders, including Phoenix Brewery’s Wobbly Bob, Hawkshead Brewery’s Lakeland Gold and George Wright Brewing Company’s Cheeky Pheasant, as well as Old Rosie Scrumpy by Westons Cider.
South East Lancs CAMRA’s acting chairperson, Sarah Bellis, said: “Since The Thomas Burke opened, in 2008, it has grown in popularity and is now a popular venue for ale-lovers."
