Wetherspoon has invested £1.8 million in its new pub and hotel in the Corstorphine suburb of Edinburgh, Scotland.
The White Lady, located two miles from the Edinburgh city centre, is managed by Chris Nicoll.
The pub features a beer garden; the hotel, on two floors, has 30 bedrooms, five of which are family rooms, with six twin rooms and 19 double bedrooms.
The pub and hotel’s name refers to a ghost, known as ‘The White Lady’, which is said to haunt the spot near to the site where, in 1679, she killed her lover with his own sword.
A sculpture of ‘The White Lady’ is featured in the pub.
