Managers John and Danielle Stephens are pictured at their new pub in Caerphilly.

The pub is named after local hero Malcolm Uphill (1935- 1999), who was born in Trecenydd and moved to Heol Trecastell, Caerphilly. He worked at the Caerphilly Loco Sheds, but is best known as a motorcycle racer –twice winning the Isle of Man TT and finishing ninth in the 250cc World Championships 1968.
