Pub manager Steven Murphy made the relatively short journey from the Cross Keys, in Peterhead, to his new pub in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.
Steven (pictured) is manager of The Gordon Highlander – opened on the site of a disused nightclub.
In the small square outside of the town hall is the Inverurie and District War Memorial, topped by a statue of a Gordon Highlander.
The pub has been designed in Art Deco style, to reflect the building’s previous life as a cinema.
Artwork and a sculpture representing the Gordon Highlander Regiment, as well as the locomotive train of the same name, are displayed.
