Jamie Bowen-Jones is pictured at The Gateway, in East Didsbury.
The pub has a large beer garden (with a sheltered area) to the rear and side of the premises.
It features a mural depicting the Wilmslow bus route and another of the Manchester ship canal.
There is also a sculpture, by David Webster, of tightrope-walkers suspended from the ceiling, based on the poem by local resident Carol Ann Duffy, who, in 2009, was appointed Britain’s Poet Laureate.
