The Denmead Queen

Wetherspoon has spent £1 million converting a former discount store, in Waterlooville, into The Denmead Queen.
The pub is managed by Sarah Dalton (pictured).
Its name relates to the single-decked Denmead Queen buses which ran regularly through Waterlooville to Portsmouth Town Hall, until the mid 1930s.
The design of the pub’s interior reflects the Forest of Bere – and there is a specially commissioned sculptural scene, by local sculptor Charles Normandale, celebrating the history of the town.
