Kitchen manager Emma Craine (pictured, second left) and kitchen supervisor Claire Curren (left) are both celebrating more than 10 years at The Ash Tree, Ashton-Under-Lyne.

During a decade at the Lancashire pub, Emma (10 years service) and Claire (14 years), together with Helen Mackowiak (10 years) and Karen Howard (right) five years service, have been responsible for outstandingly high standards of performance and hygiene, consistently achieving 100-per-cent scores for kitchen management.

The pub has accomplished full marks in the company checks and controls, including monitoring stock rotation, wastage, service, cleanliness and hygiene.

Andrea Carroll, pub manager at The Ash Tree (second right), said: “My kitchen team produces consistently high standards across the board, achieving between 100 and 90 per cent in any of the company or local health inspections and checks."
