An alternative freshers’ fair and food festival, at The Sir Titus Salt, proved to be a lot of fun for new students arriving in Bradford.
Pub manager David Herbert ran the event to coincide with Bradford University’s freshers’ fair, where the pub also had a stall.
At The Sir Titus Salt, there were food-tasters to showcase the Wetherspoon menu options, including steaks and burgers, as well as a cocktail-taster stall.
Local breweries Daleside from Harrogate and Shipley-based Saltaire Brewery were in attendance, providing an ale-sampling opportunity, with a selection of their beers.
Staff and customers are pictured enjoying the games equipment – also installed for the event, including a car simulator and laser gun shooting range.
David said: “The event proved to be a great success and very popular with the new students in town. It was a lot of fun.”
