An array of stars from the past turned out to celebrate the re-opening of The Sugar Loaf pub, following a £100,000 refurbishment.

Actors from the cast of Market Harborough Musical Theatre’s show, Decades, were at the ribbon cutting for the town’s Wetherspoon pub.

Winston Churchill, Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn are pictured with pub regular John Lyddon at the 1930s/40s/50s-themed event.

Tim Liveing, pub manager at The Sugar Loaf, said: “Thanks to everyone who attended the re-opening, it was a fantastic event and a fitting re-launch for the new look pub.”
