Groom Richard Manyon’s stag weekend pub crawl was nothing short of a marathon, when the Wetherspoon enthusiast and friends visited all 44 pubs in Wales.
Travelling by coach, the challenge started at The Elihu Yale and The North and South Wales Bank in Wrexham on Thursday, as well as taking in Flintshire.
The Sussex, in Rhyl, was the starting point on Friday, travelling through Conwy, Gwynedd, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire, Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot, Bridgend and finishing in Cardiff.
On Saturday the group began at The Sir Samuel Romilly in Barry, going on to Rhondda Cynon Taff, Merthyr Tydfil, Blaenau Gwent and Gwent, before returning to Cardiff.
The final day began at the four pubs in Newport, moving on to Forfaen and Monmouthshire, completing the challenge at The Bell Hanger, in Chepstow.
Richard said: “My best man and I have been big fans of Wetherspoon for a long time and thought this would be a great challenge.
“Many thanks to all the pub staff along the way and to general manager Lee Pears, who met up with us en route, for his help and friendliness.”
