The Clydesdale Inn, in Lanark, was the venue for an exhibition of dog photography, by local photographer Nigel Young.
Recently relocated to Lanarkshire from the Scottish Borders, Nigel has specialised for several years in unusual and different canine photography.
The pictures displayed at the pub depicted dogs in various human situations, such as driving a car and, as shown, reading a Wetherspoon menu!
Nigel said: “With high ceilings, ornate plasterwork and feature function room, the classic ex-bank building of The Clydesdale Inn is ideal for showing off some of my larger framed images.
“It is also my favourite local. The staff are always so friendly and I was delighted when the manager, Ian Gregory, accepted my proposal to exhibit my current work.”
