Singing the praises of The Skylark

The Skylark, in Croydon, was voted ‘runner up, best pub’ in the area’s Best Bar None awards for 2010.
Pub manager Charlotte Gierus, pictured with shift manager Reka Szigeti, was presented with a certificate by the annual awards scheme, run by Croydon Council, in partnership with the Metropolitan Police.
The initiative seeks to establish a standard of excellence within the licensed trade in Croydon.
All 10 Wetherspoon pubs in Croydon received accreditation at this year’s awards, with The Ship of Fools winning ‘best pub’ and ‘overall winner’ prizes.
