Pub manager Lizzie Druery played host to members of the Muker Silver Band, at her pub in Richmond, North Yorkshire.

Lizzie, who runs The Ralph Fitz Randal with her husband Nigel, invited the band to play at the pub as part of a local fund-raising event.

The Muker Silver Prized Band has been making music together for over a hundred years, in Muker, a village in Swaledale – one of the most northern of the famous Yorkshire Dales. They perform a wide repertoire of music, both ancient and modern.

Lizzie, pictured centre, right, with the band and team leader Ben Povey, said: “It was fantastic to have the band at the pub. It proved very popular with the customers and helped them to raise money for their charity.”
