Retired folk enjoy their Wednesday Club

The Wednesday Club, a weekly social group for the over-65s, celebrated its first birthday at a Petts Wood pub.
The group, for retired residents in the area, was launched a year ago, in conjunction with the Bexley News Shopper local newspaper.
They meet for lunch and social drinks at The Sovereign of the Seas, every Wednesday afternoon, as well as for celebration meals at Christmas, Halloween and birthdays.
