Cabot Court Hotel, in Weston-super-Mare, has been awarded a ‘Certificate of Excellence’, for its guest ratings on the TripAdvisor website.
The hotel, which opened in July 2011, has received consistently high reviews on the popular travel site, placing it in the number-one position out of 29 hotels in the Somerset seaside town.
TripAdvisor.co.uk provides reviews and advice on hotels, resorts, fl ights and holiday packages worldwide. A certificate of excellence is awarded for consistently high ratings from customers.
The website asks travellers to submit ratings and feedback, selecting from excellent, very good, average, poor and terrible. Cabot Court Hotel has achieved 97% of ratings in the ‘excellent’ and ‘very good’ categories.
Comments on the website include the following: “Superb location, lovely rooms, helpful and friendly staff and a great Wetherspoon pub downstairs… a hidden gem with lots to offer”; “newly refurbished to a high standard”; “five star”; “classy hotel… everything was spotless”; “loved this hotel”; “would highly recommend a stay here”.
The hotel, which occupies four floors, has 21 bedrooms, four of which are family rooms, five twin bedrooms and 12 double bedrooms. They all feature en suite bathroom, tea- and coffee-making facilities, remote-control TV and hair dryer.
Chris Partridge, pub and hotel manager at Cabot Court Hotel, said: “This is a fantastic achievement, considering that we are new, so relatively inexperienced and have received this award in our first year of trading.”
