The Ledger Building, in London’s Docklands, was the venue for a special reception, attended by 120 guests.
The event was a celebration of the life of Reg Ward, the man behind the Docklands development, who died in January this year, aged 83.
Mr Ward, who became the first chief executive of the London Docklands Development Corporation (LDDC), 30 years ago, was remembered at the gathering of friends, family and former colleagues.
One of the dining rooms at the pub was named The Reg Ward room, in tribute, with a picture of him unveiled by his daughter Sarah (pictured).
The Reg Ward room is one of three function rooms available for private bookings at The Ledger Building. For more details: 020 7536 7770
