Pub manager Nicky Fagg (centre) is pictured with members of the South Norwood Tourist Board (SNTB), during a comedy night at her pub.
Nicky, who runs The William Stanley, in South Norwood, staged a comedy event to raise funds and awareness for the SNTB.
More than 50 people packed the pub to watch eight comedians perform, including Charlie Jacobs, Neal Patrick O’Brien, Archie W Maddocks and Rachel Dixon.
A bottle of Champagne was awarded for the ‘best Pickles joke’ of the night, named after the dog which found the missing Jules Rimet World Cup trophy, in South Norwood, in 1966.
Nicky said: “We had already hosted a quiz night for the SNTB and thought that the comedy night would be a great idea.
“It proved to be a fantastic success, a better turn-out than we’d dared to hope for, with a great atmosphere at the pub.”
