Raising £2,000

Pub manager Matt Potts was one of a record number of 40,000 entrants to take part in the BUPA Great Manchester Run 2012.
Matt, who runs The William Rufus, in Carlisle, completed his first run in 52 minutes and 57 seconds.
He raised a total of £2,000 in sponsorship, during six weeks of fund-raising and training.
The three charities benefiting from the funds are CLIC Sargent (£750), Cash for Kids (£750) and Cumbria Cerebral Palsy Society (£500).
