Pub’s cider reaches the gold standard

The Gold Cape has been recognised for the quality and choice of its cider, by members of the local Campaign for Real Ale branch.
The pub in Mold has been named Branch Cider Pub of the Year 2011, by Vale of Clwyd CAMRA.
Pub manager Bill Llewellyn was presented with a certificate, which is now on display at the pub.
The Gold Cape serve three traditional real ciders at all times, including Westons Old Rosie Scrumpy, Organic Vintage and Marcle Hill, as well as a selection of still and carbonated bottled ciders.
