Fund-raising activities at the City and County, in Goole, have raised £1,000 for a nearby school.

Various events, including a race night and non-uniform day, were part of the ongoing fund-raising activities at the pub, for both CLIC Sargent and Kingsway Primary School.

Several members of staff at the pub have children attending the local community school.

The latest funds, collected over the past six months, have been donated to Kingsway for photography equipment. The money funded 13 digital cameras for the students’ photography course and research work.
