Article date: 30 Aug 2011
More than two years since its launch, the reading group at The John Jacques, in Portsmouth, continues to go from strength to strength.
Run in partnership with the Portsmouth Library Service, the two great high-street institutions (the local pub and the library) have joined forces, with particular success in the city.
The monthly Wednesday-night group is full to capacity, with 15 avid readers enjoying and discussing a book each month, in the convivial surroundings of The John Jacques.
