The William Wilberforce provided the venue for live music, as part of an annual music festival.

Shift manager Danielle Matthews (left) and shift leader Riki Lewis (right) welcome singer and entertainer Rachel Ward to the pub, during the Hull Trinity Festival.

The three-day live music event saw 16 venues, across the east Yorkshire city, including the nearby Holy Trinity Church, collectively host 100 acts.

Emma Bismor, pub manager at The William Wilberforce, said: “This is the second year of the festival and, once again, it proved a big hit with residents and visitors alike.

“There is a real family atmosphere about the place, with a busking competition and people able to try musical instruments for themselves, as well as a great showcase for the musical talent here in Hull.”
